Chris has been a staff photographer at the Newark Star-Ledger since 1996. He is covering his fourth Olympic Games. Unless you count “General Tso’s Chicken, pork fried rice,” he does not speak chinese.

Ted and I are going to China in Oct. and I’ve been trying to read everything I can and of course can’t wait for the Olympics…Ted can’t wait to taste some of the unusual foods tha tChina offers.. He’s the adventurous one.. Not me… I’m bringing some cheese and crackers and will eat in the hotels… I would love to here from you if you have the time (which I’m sure won’t be much) Enjoy your adventure and stay safe….
